Veronica Lopez - PRCC Treasurer and County of Santa Clara Social Services 

Verónica López was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. For the first ten years of her life, she enjoyed the sun and sounds of the island. But in 1990, when she was just 10, she moved to California. Even though she was far away, Veronica never forgot where she came from. She made it a point to visit Puerto Rico often, keeping her connection to her roots strong.

Around the year 2000, Veronica found another way to celebrate her Puerto Rican background. She began volunteering with the Puerto Rican Civic Club in San Jose, CA.
